Blogging to control yarn and fabric urges

Another ‘catch up’ post October 9, 2010

While on Sabbatical, I delved into the very gratifying world of hat knitting. I have always crocheted hats, thinking that working in the round is so much easier with crochet but I have to say that I think knitting is more satisfying. I had been making a few baby hats (6 in total I think) but none for adults (or me!).
A couple of hats that resulted in that little journey are here:
hat
button tab hat (rav link) in Bendigo Woollen Mills Luxury 10 ply
and
hat
Norwegian Star hat with no earflaps (rav link) in Bendigo as before.
this last one is really my first try at colourwork. It worked out pretty well.
I wore both of them a lot.
